Compost Disinfection

Disinfection trailer

This general-purpose tool disinfects composts and manipulates it easily using a wheel chassis.

It is available in two versions, with capacities of 0.5 m3 or 1 m3. The disinfection trailer allows for an easy unloading of the product using a tilting vat actuated mechanically or hydraulically.

The bottom of the trailer features a grid designed to diffuse the vapor homogeneously while retaining the compost. A stainless lid with handles covers the top of the trailer so that the unit stays perfectly watertight during disinfection.

Operation:

The compost is charged in the hopper at the base of the machine. An adjustable trap door located in the hopper sets the thickness of the compost (consequently its volume) on the belt conveyer.

The belt conveyer brings the compost to the vapor chamber of the machine.

Programmable control of the temperature of the compost inside the disinfection tunnel – if the temperature is lower than the target value, the conveyer stops until the temperature increases to the target value.

Water connection at the exit of the disinfection chamber and draining trap at the base for inside washing of the machine.
